After his performance in the regional one-day tournament, I would not be resistant to him making the ODI side. He's dominated the wicket-taking stakes.

You were saying he wouldn't be picked for the A team, becuase he's on his way to India to play Test cricket. I said, let him play the Bangladesh A series, because the ODI series in India doesn't start until after the Bang series.

I've always said that players need to pick on the basis of how they perform domestically, and he's done well in the one-dayers, so deserves his chance in ODIs....
I never said he was going to play test cricket!!.. i just said he was heading to India to be with the squad!!.. but when he got picked for the A-team you tried to come over all cocky and suggested that he wasn't ready to join up with the senior team!!..you use that tedious line every chance you get Mike!! :roll: .

Again, thick-head, the Test team....
:roll:
I have no problems with him joining the ODI side, after his returns. Can you comprehend that?

Nothing special in FOUR-DAY cricket, thick-head....
:roll:
Let me break it down for you....

In limited overs cricket, you don't need to be an attacking bowler to take wickets. You just need to be difficult to score runs off. But at four-day cricket, you need attacking weapons to take wickets. That's why Badree and Santokie are good at limited overs cricket, but not at the longer version.

Narine is outstanding at limited overs cricket, but so far is nothing special at the longer format. As I've said before, he needs a full season for Trinidad in four-day cricket before we know what he can deliver in that format.

I've said all this before, but you just don't seem to read it....

The more you post the more retarded you seem to get!! :roll: ..NOT ONCE DID YOU SUGGEST THAT HE SHOULD BE PICKED FOR THE ODI TEAM!!..so don't embarrass your old rass by suggesting otherwise, furthermore maps notion about him wasn't restricted to four day cricket, he was judging the yutes all round ability and like the cheerleading pr/ck you are you were very happy to join in the fun!!..you're far too transparent to fool me duncy!! 8-) .

I know reading between the lines is difficult for someone of your intellect, but try...give it a shot.
:D

By my post there, I'm implying that Narine should be in both the WI A 20/20 side, and in the ODI squad to play India.

Can you see that? Or do you need me to break it down further for you?

Yep - just as I thought - you don't have the capacity to read between the lines!
:lol:
Here I say Narine might be going to India for the ODIs....

http://www.windiesfans.com/forums/viewt ... ine#p22258" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I see I need to lower the level to get thru to you.
:D
And here's where I tell ntini that Narine and Badree should be playing 20/20 cricket for the WIndies in Dhaka....

http://www.windiesfans.com/forums/viewt ... ine#p20408" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You see, Afro, I function off performances domestically. I have nothing against Narine playing for the WIndies, so long as he does well domestically. At the time, he was excelling at 20/20 cricket, and in the regional one-day tournament, he stepped up to that level too, so I would be for him playing that format too, just as I was for him playing 20/20 cricket for the Windies....

Mike i'll do you a favor and quote what you said because you're obviously FAR TOO THICK to comprehend basic english...
mikesiva wrote:As I said before, Afro, that 12-man squad is just for the first 'Test'....

Wait and see what squad is announced for the one-dayers against Bangladesh A, and if Narine and the others are in that squad, then they will probably be on the flight to India for the ODIs, assuming they do well against Bangladesh A, of course.
NOW CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE YOU SUGGESTED THAT HE SHOULD BE IN THE ODI TEAM PLEASE? COME ON SMARTYPANTS SHOW ME WHERE YOU SAID HE SHOULD BE IN THE ODI TEAM!!..I'M WAITING YOU OLD SKUNT!! :lol: .

Are you blind as well as stupid?
:D
What do you want me to do? Jump up and down, screaming for his inclusion, as you do?

That's not my style....
8-)
As any intelligent person can see from my post, I feel that Narine will be playing ODIs for the WIndies.
