That is what Gibson is paid to do: C-O-A-C-H - not to alienate the players, chuck out the seniors and use his words to bad mouth the team.... If he, the players and the likes of Afro have discovered that he is good at coaxing the bowlers to turn out good performances then can he P-L-E-A-S-E stick to that!!!!!!!!!!
I watched him standing barefacedly answering questions posed on Saturday but not once did he look at the camera - guilty conscience speaks louder............ The damage is irreparable... Sars and Shiv are shells of their former selves while Chris broke all the records in India including top scoring although he has only played half of the games....

If anyone can help to fix the WI team then kudos to them.... If anyone steps in there and causes more discontent, disarray and DIS-ease then they need to walk away.

Many of this forum posters are expressing their sentiments about the game while one in particular spews HATE. The name alone speaks for itself and perhaps should be changed to IDI as in Amin - dictator!!!! Unless of course he is a child of limited intelligence and can be so excused. Go and play with the kids instead of showing up your upbringing and parents here...

Gibson has done an excellent job with Rampaul, and it's good to see him working with Edwards, too.

Also, he accepted that peace needed to be made with Shiv, because the grand old man's batting is crucial to the team's success, and got him into the Test team. As it turned out, that last wicket partnership between Shiv and Bishoo put on 48 runs, and we won by just 40 runs....

And despite his criticism of the 'senior players', he got Sarwan back into the side. Yes, Sarwan hasn't really produced yet, but it was hard batting on this pitch. I expect Gibson to keep Sarwan in the team for the second Test....

I watched Russell...he is raw...very raw... needs a lot of work. about 2 years of dung heap, english cricket etc shud set him right.

also as a coach Gibbo might be missing the individual nuances of players and any specific need they have, dat is different from all the rest. I can gurantee that there are differences among all the players that would require specific coaching responses.

so Gibbo may ask himself dat question relative to Roach and seek to revise his methods if he discovers he mus' change his ways with the young man!
