India's lead spinner has bowled 557 deliveries to West Indies' leading batsman without dismissing him. Ever. Can Chanders maintain that stat on a turning pitch?

"Statsguru partnership summary makes it possible to calculate how many Test wickets individual batsmen have seen fall at the other end. Dravid leads with 391 (652 partnerships - 30 unbroken - 231 completed innings) with Chanderpaul on 390 (593 - 17 - 186) at lunch. Following are Border (364), SRWaugh (348), Kallis (325), Tendulkar (318), and Gavaskar (303). Scraped the database for all batsmen with 100+ Test innings." I can't vouch for its accuracy, but you can't be too far off the mark

Shiv c mukund b harbhajan 23---he faced 73 balls
SHIV CONTINUES TO CHOOK!
23 runs from 73 balls---chook---chook---chook
Shiv deserved to be discarded in onedayers.
I dont see Shiv raising his test average to 50+

He needs 10 lashes not 10 laps.
Have you ever seen Shiv make a big score in tests when he pokes around like he did today ?
THAT WAS A HARMLESS DELIVERY FROM HARBHAJAN.
Rather than attack the delivery---Shiv chose to be ultra defensive---and gifted his wicket.
WI 169/8
RAVI RAMPAUL BATTING POSITIVELY
Rampaul 13* off 17 balls
Maybe Shiv can learn something from Rampee regarding batting positively.
TIRED OF SHIV AND HIS DAMN NEGATIVITY.

Answer: NO.
60.1 52.3 mph, Stop the press! It has taken Harbhajan 574 balls at Shiv to get him out, but he has finally done it, at a good time for India. Extra bounce again and as Shiv goes deep into the crease, it takes the inside edge onto the thigh pad and lobs for an easy catch 152/8
