That was a good first session for the WI bowlers....
It's a good thing the BCCI insisted that there shouldn't be a warmup game.

I turn meh back for 2 minutes and look wah happen. India 89/6 (29.0 ov)
26.6
Bishoo to Dravid, OUT, Dravid had got a start, which is nothing new, but he has thrown it away, which is something unusual, similar dismissal to Laxman's, again Bishoo threw it up in the air, full enough for Dravid to launch in to the forcing drive and slip gets more catching practice, Dravid is disappointed, waves the bat in frustration as he walks back
R Dravid c Sammy b Bishoo 40 (67b 7x4 0x6) SR: 59.70
28.2
Bishoo to Dhoni, OUT, Bishoo is on a roll and the men around him have edges flying towards them, Dhoni has departed to a nothing shot, half-forward to a tossed up ball, just pushing the bat out, the ball gripped and bounced high, Dhoni could do nothing as it took the shoulder of the bat and lobbed up towards gully

oh man! wat the hell is this. why is Gibbo shaking his head? he has to have Sammy confident to hold his side together under attack.
steady the ship! get the bowling to place the ball to the field and shut down the scoring

howzdat wrote:... If they get Dravid and Raina with less that 130 on the board - and India score less than 230 - the selectors would feel good about the team selection.
Notwithstanding the very good counter attack by Harbhajhan and Raina the current score of 151/6 ought still to be seen as one that the West Indies would have been happy with at the start of play. Dravid having been sent back to the pavilion has fulfilled my lunch time wish, but while Raina remains at the crease there is the potential for a momentum swing in favour of India.
The WI aim now must be to tighten up and pull the run rate back and then devise a strategy to finish off the remaining four wickets in the Indian first innings. The first day is well poised.

Finally made it to tea. 150 runs and 2 wickets in the second session. Put in Edwards and blow these guys away.
