well I get up a awhile ago and the fus' ting I see is westindies make Lanka follow-on. and dat was a mistake...ah big one indeed.

its not 180 or 280 deh mek but 380. and yuh bowling team tired after more than a day in the field. they are also highly inexperienced with only Bravo of any kind of long term record as a test bowler.

those are not the conditions in, and resources with which yu send opposition, with a long strong, successfull and experienced, world-class batting line-up back in.

if there was even a day and a half to spare would with absolute certainly wud make Sammy pay for dat 'passionate' decision, by collaring westindian bowling and racing-off the deficit, setting about 2-250 to make in the last innings which westindies would not be able to cope with and lose the game.

as it stands lanka are only 91 runs behind, with all wickets in hand.... and deh should be in the lead by lunch time tonite.

if they get on top of this westindies bowling..which they are fully and easily capable of doing... and give westindies any kind of lead by tea, westindies may have 2 hours of pure hell before this game is over.

I can see Mendis and Randiv, going after westindies batsmen after tea with a vengence.

RBK...with Sammy's gentle bowling is only if the batsmen miscued he might get lucky. But SL will go for fast runs so some wickets might be up for grabs.

Define Merit Prof? You need another word to make your biased point.

I have to agree with you! Sammy is uniquely qualified.
Chrissy is working off the old paradigm where merit could actually be measured in terms of runs & wickets.

Now that merit has been re-defined as passion, commitment, obedience, vibes, prayer, cheer leading and other intangibles, Daren Sammy is the most eminently qualified candidate.
