Update Sriram Veera has some gloomy news: "They are bringing back covers, although i can't see any rain. They could be expecting another shower." We will let you know if things get better. Meanwhile, some saw dust is being scattered to improve conditions in the bowlers run up area.

for bet sake..we on.. :)
I glad to say that yuh win de bet BallOil. Why can't West Indian batsmen play this way all the time? The opposition are not trying any less hard to get a wicket yet still the resistance is full of stout determination - as one would wish for. So is what really going on in the camp? Why it tek so long for us to see test quality batting?

It is not a surpirse that Chanderpaul finally produces such a display because he is renowned for this type of batting performance but Samuels too has shown admirable discipline.

Bishop making some points about it being a pitch that WI batsmen look forward to playing pon - so is wah do de groundsmen dem dat dey produce dem tracks dat taking big, big spin?

55.1 Mithun to Chanderpaul, OUT, Clatter and shatter. So unlike Chanders. He's gone. Mithun has a big wicket here. He steams in from round the stumps and lands this short, not bouncer-short, and not quite there for the pull. Especially given the line, it was well outside off. Chanders moved the back foot across and went for the pull. Mistake. It ricochets off the bottom edge and thuds into the furniture. Big, big wicket, just before lunch.

S Chanderpaul b Mithun 37 (117b 1x4 0x6) SR: 31.62

At lunch Wi are 63 behind with four wickets left
