yu have a serious intellectual problem. you are linear, straight. there are no grays or blues and browns or shadows in your thought.

If I said I am going west and yu hear that i did not go west as I said what wud you assume given the way you have expressed yourself here...that I went in the opposite direction.

but I could have gone north or south and or any tangent from the spot I may have been standing..or sitting..or horizontal, even upsided down. I may even have been hoisted on a 'tenderhook'

I may not have gone anywhere at all as a matter of fact. but there is a full reality we were born into that sghaped us, a full reality out there, what has brought us to this day that makes us who we are, that we must always consider...and a full array of possibilities based on dat.

let me assure you that there is a whole lot behind what I say, concerning snaksh and in my defence of shive. it contains a picture of what we shud be in the westindies, what we must be in order go forward in the best shape we can.

I am not concerned about snash in the least as an individual. the issue is hardly he but the way the westindies/westindians are that allows such things to happen.

I explained a bit of my impression of the westindies society as a specific result of our historical experience. we are a terrible reality due to our history which you ignore completely. we began in genocide and slavery of the indigenous folk. we continued in african slavery, indenture and apprenticeship, colonialims and now neo-colonialism

all thos formations were built on force, routine, daily social relations of force, racism, torture, mass murder, elite unaccountability, blac powerlessness and insame dissembling in order to save life, when there were no laws to protect such as we from murder. all you have to do is to get into the records to find out what we endured for centuries...abut the Code Noir of the French and the english one, the spanish one...the why of the promulgation of these codes.

we have in place now the derivative from those centuries of atrocity that passed for westindian society. current westindian society under all the calypso, fete loving inane sobriquets is still a most brutal thing, not democratic social relations but still ruled by force routinely.

the westindies is a socially pock-marked region and the peopel suffer from all those centuries of atrocity. we have great westindians like George Lamming, Vidia Naipaul, CLR James, Anthony Martin and more point out that the westindies is going nowhere until we address the past positively, and set in motiong a new society calculated to correct the social baggage we have brought forward with us including our mental and emotional disabilities that hang from our routine behaviour like rotten fruit.

we have to build a multi-racial society, democratic and socialist, focused on the well-being of all the people, focused on the development of the society not for the accmulation of profit by the traditional few. we have to collate the history of the human species and our variety of it. in all truth and teach that to our children in schools. such truth would prove that the human species is one thing, with a monogentic origin, in one place that is in africa...and that the history of all is the history of one and the reverse

all began in Africa, all people are African, and all people are biological, the children of nature, locked into our environment and must find a way to survive indefinetly. we can survive only if we remain fit in nature, maintain our environment

I defend shive because his case requires such a defence at this time.

shive is WESTINDIAN, a citizen and must be treated like a citizen... not as we treat ourselves now but how we must come to treat all our people, how we must relate to each other...that can be produced ultimately only by a socialist organisation of society, that has solved racism and the seperation of people by class, gender etc.. all the divisions we have practised and experienced to date.

such a society would make all citizens secure up to the level achieved on any current day.

racism solved, all achievement by citizens regardless of ethinic orgin would be regarded as ours, the societys, not judged by ethnicity...ethnicity simply coresponding to the various gradations of the human species that hav come to be in the world from the biological adjustments to environments that have taken place over the past 50 thousand years.

it is time to give up on the insularities, the divisions and come home to truth. the human species is on its last legs, at a brink, unless we change the way society is organised. unless society is socialised we will not make it past 30 more years. and given the nuclear situation in japan it is looking like we may not even make 30 more years for we are being lied to as to the severity of that situation.

it is time to accpet truth and change, blac westrindian leadership have screwed the westindies snce independence began in 1962. the African leadership class has screwed ordinary blac people, almost totally

at the point of indpendece blac people in the westindies were better off than they are currently, especially in trinidad and Guyana. that is because of betrayal and rabid exploitation of the people by our very own blac leaders.

now that the Dotts are being insular that is of no value to blac people at all, makes things worse for us, for where we shud have been making democracy and attending to our people we have cut them adrift to batle in a sitatuion we cold not hope to win

there is absolutely no chance for the dots to keep on being in charge of westindies cricket. they are a small rump with hardly quarter of a million people with only sun, sand and a few bananas and coconuts. they wil lose out and for them what then?

the same question for Africans in Titty and Guyana. and the african population of jamaica is already lost, locked away in slumps with little chance as the capitalist system declines into a rapacious and truncated, contracting monopoly, that is looking to reduce the worlds population in effort to save the capitalsit class domination of the world

what we shud have been building fro the start as our great thinkers told our leaders is the very democrcay that would have developed all. there was no way wewere going to maitain domination. accepting that act from the start we would have put in place the sysem that would have taken care of all, end racism and and social division and have a cohesive, diverse society achieving success in the world.

I defend shive justly... not for any other reason but first it is a justified defence.

then I use it to demonstarte an idea of the society I have in mind that the wesindiec must create, the way it shud be, must be if we are to survive.

and all such decent human behaviour, based on the achievement of socialism, democracy and security for the people is the way all of society, globally, must move or we are toast the human species. we must democratise or die.

the defence of shive was an opportunity to demonstrate something right and positive.

So if you're not prejudice WHY BRING UP HIS SKIN COLOUR AT ALL? WHY ARE YOU MORE FOCUSED ON THE MANS RACE RATHER THAN HIS PERFORMANCES ON THE PITCH? you can come forth with your drawn out posts full of frivolous excuses and notions of how you think the world should be but the evidence is there for all to see, and when i told you about Nash's parents you had no answer for it and why? because it doesn't quite fit in with your futile argument!! .
