WI 144/748.2Abdur Rehman to Sammy, OUT, stunner from Umar Akmal, it looked to be headed to the straight boundary, Sammy had got under a fuller one and lofted it straight over the bowler's head, it had almost got over the boundary before Akmal came rushing in from long off, took the high catch, tottered for a moment perilously close to the rope, recovered, again tottered almost an inch away from the rope, but managed to keep his balance in the end, and then charged towards his team-mates
DJG Sammy c Umar Akmal b Abdur Rehman 16 (26b 0x4 1x6) SR: 61.53

Sammy is so fecking stupid!!
, anyway the plan from here should be simple, see out the rest of the day and try to get within 50 of Pak, that will mean they would have to add at least 200 to the score and stay at the crease for a day and a half, if they do we can easily draw this game.

what Sammy was thinking? We are depending on the tail too often for runs..AFRO wrote:Sammy is so fecking stupid!!, anyway the plan from here should be simple, see out the rest of the day and try to get within 50 of Pak, that will mean they would have to add at least 200 to the score and stay at the crease for a day and a half, if they do we can easily draw this game.

WI 161/855.2 Saeed Ajmal to Samuels, OUT, it's all over for Samuels this time, he went hard at another fuller one, looking to loft it for another six, did not hit it that well, Taufeeq rushed in from long off and dived forward to take it very close to the ground, only his fingers between the turf and the ball, no air at all, they refer it to the third umpire, who thinks it is clean enough to send Samuels on his way back, end of a fighting innings

Baugh is not a replacement for Ramdin....
His keeping is no better than Ramdin's, and his batting is a step down, so far. Nash looks a shadow of himself, and the other two batsmen who need runs in the second innings to save their places in the side are Sarwan and Bravo, who've both been very disappointing. Samuels looked like the only batsman with the right mental approach to the game in that innings.
That was a very disappointing approach to batting by a lineup that's clearly going to struggle, without Shiv and Gayle in the team....

Well the plan for today should be a simple one, we NEED that tail to get at least another 30 to 40 runs minimum, that should put us close enough to Pak for them to have to bat for another day and a half (they won't set us anything under 250 imo!!.. it's too risky) , during which i suspect there will be a few rain delays!!, the bottom line is if we get within 50 runs of their score it could be a very big moment in the match.
