I disagree. Yeah, he's been a little wild, but there are other things to consider. He's just back from extended rehab. He's bowled well in the few innings he's had since his return, taking wickets with reasonable economy. He's come close to taking two wickets already this innings, and should have been given Mukund's. Sammy needs to let him bowl more than 3 or 4 overs at a time, and let him get settled in.howzdat wrote:*Fidel Edwards (rf) 3.0 1 13 0 - What a waste of the new ball by Edwards. Whay was he asked to bowl the first over? Another mistake by the brains trust. Rampaul by comparison has bowled 2 overs for three runs.

Ramps in them....... Ravi continues to impress me ...spearheading the attack. India 26/1
7.5 Rampaul to Vijay, OUT, Rampaul has struck and Vijay fails again. Lovely delivery. Rampaul angles it in from a touch wide of the crease, creating the illusion of a full ball, but it wasn't there for the drive. Vijay walked into the trap, literally. He puts the front foot out, realises he's not near the pitch and then pushes forward loosely. The ball lands on the seam and straightens to kiss the outside edge. Baugh gobbles it.
