WICKET! Gayle c Thomas b Bess 6 edged big drive to second slip; JAM 18/1 (5.4 ovs)
Why are Bess and Permaul playing for HPC and not Guyana? They are easily the best Guyanese bowlers around....
And why is Gabriel not playing for Trinidad/ With Rampaul away on WI duties, Trinidad don't have a pace bowler.

ARe you that naive Mike? WHEN YOUNGSTERS GO TO THE HPC THAT'S WHO THEY REPRESENT IN THE ONE DAY GAMES!!..and now it's extended to the four day competition aswell!!, Gabriel, Bess and Permaul missing gives another Trini and Guyana youngster a chance, which is only a good thing imo.

So, the HPC then becomes more important than your country?
Or are the selectors at these countries stupid enough to overlook these guys?
We might have a similar case to this arising....

WICKET! Marshall b Gabriel 20 loses his off-stump in spectacular fashion playing a loose drive; JAM 61/3 (22.4)
The RRR is climbing, and at this point I think it's advantage HPC.
