Agree...bat until 1 hour after lunch...that will give us a minimum of 135 overs to get them out... 8-)

The 400 lead up now....

I will be disappointed if we don't declare at lunch.

Bravo brings up his 150 with a boundary, and it's lunch, with Shiv also there on 30....

THe lead is now over 430. Surely, it's time to declare?

Hi Mike, I haven't seen any of the morning session, so I can't make any comment on the basis of having observed how the pitch is playing. However, maybe foolishly, I dont see the need to think about a declaration just yet. Weather permitting there are five sessions remaining in the game; post-lunch if WI can go at a rate that sees them adding another 100-120 in the session I would definitely bat it out. And think about a declaration post-tea.

I don't trust this pitch so i'm happy we came back out and hopefully we can push it to 470-500 then declare, can't see them getting near that, but if we declare now and Tamim starts like a house on fire and they have a 100 opening partnership then we might find ourselves with a problem, lets remember it's only Fidel and Bishoo taking the wickets right now, if Fidel doesn't fire we're not likely to win this game unless Roach gets his act together.

Morning howzdat, Afro....
8-)
A boundary to Bravo and the hundred partnership is up....

Bravo and Shiv are batting and running a lot more aggressively after lunch, so maybe Westdem and Silva are right - bat for an hour after lunch, and then declare.

Bravo's out for 195, and WI declare on 383-5....

Interesting to see Bravo upset with missing out on a double. Shows a good appetite for runs, that....

Yeah unlucky Bravo!!..that would have been an easy 200 if he wasn't being rushed so much, but i guess the team must come first, anyway it's vital we get some early breakthroughs, we don't wanna get to stumps today without at least three wickets, now is the time for Roach to stand up, he needs to deliver now.

Credit to Sammy there!!.. we desperately needed that wicket..another two before close and i'd say we're well on course to get the job done, Roach really worries me though, he's looking absolutely terrible, i wouldn't take him to India in this form, might aswell call Russell or Pascal up.

this is a man who knows his cricket. and I also give credit to the dressing room for recognising the obvious.

the obvious is that we have 2 bowlers in the side who can get the job done..not 4. even bang cud gives us real trouble with just Fidel and Bishoo who can take wickets.

I might have gone even to tea before I declared. I wudnot have pressured darren to get his double quickly and so cost him his wicket.

the decl;aration might have been early given westindian resources. this is nip and tuck. I dont know if we can get them out. the pitch is untrustworthy as far as heloing the bowlers go. it is better that it looked yesterday
