So maps makes an analysis I agree with i.e WI have to be batting tomorrow. If England is batting tonight AND the weather stays so that we get no interruptions tonight and a further two full days of cricket, then WI could well be playing to save this game. However, Narine is an unknown quantity.... so everything to play for.

At the end of this WI innings Samuels will have a series average above 90! Little did I know that he had this brewing when I made my remarks about NOT wanting to see him anywhere near the squad. Without his runs chances are that we would have seen some games finish in 4 days or less. Ah well, well done Mr. Samuels ... hat-eating time for howzdat!

Howzdat? Doh be hard on yourself re Marlon... Samuels in the form of his life but his career average tells a different story with with 33 in Test and 29 in ODis. We are WIindians that is part of WI culture, that is what we do best

Samuels departs for a well played 76 as WI now on 208/6
79.1 Bresnan to Samuels, OUT, 124.6 kph, big appeal, and given lbw! Samuels reviews pretty quickly. It nipped back from outside off. Might be outside the line. There's no edge. Well, it's umpire's call for impact so that will stay as out. Huge breakthrough for England shortly before the new ball. End of another fine innings from Samuels
MN Samuels lbw b Bresnan 76 (114b 10x4 1x6) SR: 66.66

Sammy out for 16, Narine for 11, but Ramdin gets his half-century....

Rampaul out for two, but Ramdin and Best are piling on the runs, and take the Windies past 300....
