Joel Garner named West Indies manager

Joel Garner, the former fast bowler, has been appointed interim manager of West Indies for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka. He had earlier been manager of the team from the tour of Australia late last year till the end of the home series against South Africa earlier this year.
"It is an honour to serve West Indies cricket in whatever capacity I am asked," Garner said. "As always, I am willing to do what is required to see West Indies cricket move forward."

Isnt this character another individual who kisses hunte/hilaire combo?
It was expected .
He got credit for the ozz series ,then when the beatings started went silent .
Cant wait to hear comments after SL hammers West Indies .

The SA tour ended on June 29... WICB know ahead of time that is the end for the manager...four months later and they can't fill a position. Did they advertise this vacancy yet or they busy misdiagnosing Sarwan ?
