Here is what Cozier seh..
linkEven as he was appointed, unsympathetic bloggers were doubting that he was worth his place in the side. He is no Garry Sobers, no Learie Constantine, not even Keith Boyce. But he is a useful medium-pacer with three five-wicket returns in a Test innings and a whole-hearted cricketer who needs time to settle into the position.
On the evidence of his first Test, he needs to show more faith in his own ability. He limited himself to 20 overs of the 176 Sri Lanka batted. Only once in his eight previous Tests had he bowled fewer.
With Benn most likely to return in place of Russell for the second Test, starting on Tuesday in Colombo, Sammy must lead from the front, take the new ball with Roach and put more of the energy he speaks of as captain into his bowling than he did in Galle.
Otherwise, he will continue to be referred to as the “non-playing captain” by those who delight in internet denigration.

interesting comments from Cozy. he is even-handed on Sammy, verging on support.. we will see!
anyhow I know the player who will get dropped for Benn is Russell. that is obvious...and Sammy will have to use the new ball himself.
but as cozy righty points out Sammy must take himself seriously as a bowler whose contribution the side desperatly needs...and not hide his own skunt away from the forefront. he must bring his much vaunted energy and passion to his bowling.
he might get licks but dat is no never mind. he 'have' to go out and try, hard, involve himself fully in the actual playing of the game, with is own determined, participatory effort. I hope he is not hearing and listening to and believing in all the crap that he is not good enough, that he cant make the side on merit.
he should not lissen to dat. dat is not fuh him but fuh we the fans. we are the judges! we are to lissen to all the talk about Sammy, not Sammy himself. he must believe in himself, shut his ears and go do his job and leave our job to us.
our job is to scorch and excoriate his rarse if he plays and leads crap...or give him his due of he does well!
