Simmons upbeat after finally meeting with Butts

Out of-favour batsman Lendl Simmons says he is upbeat about his future in West Indies cricket following a productive meeting with chief selector Clyde Butts on Thursday. The dashing right-hander has pledged his commitment to West Indies cricket, stressing that he will be focusing on improving his form in order to grab the attention of selectors again.

I'm not sure they didn't gave specifics but Butts said that he needed help
Butts also said that Trinidadian Lendl Simmons, who was also ignored, was still in the picture but need to work on off the field shortcomings.

“He got a bad report from the Australia series which suggested he needs help and I hope to speak with him shortly. I had asked to meet with him before, but he apparently ignored the request” Butts pointed out.
