I dont know wats going orn with it..wat the criteria fuh selection is. I assumed all those guys were attending a college or university in the westindies and so were selected on that basis. wat deh doh go to school.
I mean deh have a few such in the westindies now dont they..University of Guyana, Titty, UWI. the technical schools in Titty and Jamaica, the various extra mural departments or extensions over the islands etc.
wat nutten 'tall do so?
if dat criteria is a problem why dont deh just pik a wicb presidents 11 and let dat play? or find soem relevant designation fuh it an' away we go.

but deh seem to be havin problems making sufficient games to have enough cricket to develop we game in the region.
if deh add a presidents 11 and make canada a permanent part of the regionals, while always inviting ah english county we shud have enough games.
deh cud go further afield and make a roatation with Zimbabe and Kenya...one each year..or both all the time.
that wud give us 10 teams. with 10 teams dat is 50 games. dat shud be ebiough cricket in the regionals
I propose den dat deh have: Bim, Guyana, Leewards, Windwards, Jamaica, Titty, the Presidents 11, english county, Canada, Zim, Kenya.
and deh shud be looking to make a combined team of Bermuda, Cayman, Turks, Bahamas..and maybe the USA. close to home we doh have to stretch to Africa all the time

on the other hand de wicb cud focus on a regional first class club competition of 3 day duration.
deh cud start with a first division of the top one or two teams from every islands first division, expanding it to top 3 or 4 in time.
there wud of course still be the T20 regionals/ODI regionals..as wel as the 4-day regionals
the club competiton shud give us 10 teams and 50 3-day week end matches. these games shud be professional the players shud ne paid and the competion popularised by a proper marketing program.
maintaining all these wud require proper marketing strategies to max out financial returns and reinvigorate the game in the region.

of course the wicb would first work with its various nation members to develop strong internal first class competitons.
these domestic competitions if successful could be the lightening rod of popular interest region-wide, that would flow into the regional first class club competions and the regional representative games
