Only Three West Indians for IPL 2011

At the conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction on day two in Bangalore, only two West Indians were sold for their reserve price from the final list of 28 players. It appears that the 26 unsold players didn't generate enough interest for the IPL teams.
The biggest surprise from the auction is that both Brian Lara and Chris Gayle are in the list of unsold players.
