allyuh msut take a good look at Hunte, one of the worst people in public life in the westindies right now...if not the absolute worst.
Hunte is like Bustamante who hit the federation the fist terminal lash by carrying out a most insular, prejudicial and racist program against the federation forcing a Jamaica referendum on the federation that the jamaica people stupidly voted against.
Busta was a bucka, a jamaican white man who had no love for Blac people, no interest in seeing westindian blac people do well.
so by stoking anti westindian prejudice against their brothers among Jamaican people Busta won a vote to take jamaica away from federation and therefore a supine, non-nationalist life under and beholden to ole marse'.
thats how westindian leadership is. how did a man like Busta come to be trusted by the jamaican people? how did a man like Eddie Seaga come to be trusted by the jamaican people? the manlyes were similar bukar types but at least there was some kind of nationaism and westindianism at least in the son Michael.
I dont know about Norman the father though. he was as suspetc to me as Busta clearly was anti-nationalist blac hating sob.
how do ordinary westindians come to trust people, leaders, who are cleary opposed to our collective interests? westindian people should never trust white people to lead them..and even more so, brown people..those of a mixed type of blac and white.
and now that we know them we should never trust our blac elites. in fact the westindian people ought to be out in the streest at this very moment changing the society be eliminating the leadership of our blac elites and creating some political form that would include all the people in the proceess of running society in the region

there could have been a federation of the remainder. and at once the development of some kind of association with Jamaica and guyana, just like CARICOM emerged in place of the federation.
but in the end eric was as bad, as anti-naionalist, as anti-blac and anti-wesindiansas any white or near white leader we ever had.
and out of that class our current leadership evolved. and of them Julian Hunte, in the public eye all the time, is a most heinous example. just like that these people do the most ridiculos and destructive things.

I watched Mikey Holding on Sky and one could clearly see that once proud WI is badly hurt and bruised! he was lost for words...all he could was shake his head. He had very little to say.
