A usually reliable source informed that Chanderpaul, who also had a poor World Cup, was asked to retire from Limited Overs cricket but declined to do so. When contacted a WICB official confirmed that Chanderpaul was indeed asked to resign from ODI cricket.

Just like how them tried to sweet talk Shiv at the World Cup ...

Dem ask Shiv to retire from one dayers? :shock: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS now all dem have to do is leave him out of di Test team and pick IN FORM BATSMEN and i will be happy fi days!! :lol: , wah me tell unnu already? THOSE SENIOR SKUNTS WHO FAILED US AT THE WORLD CUP ARE FINISHED!! :mrgreen: .

The WICB have done some great things off the pitch lately, HPC, u19 tours, espn showing our t20 cup around the world, one day competition being shown live online, a brand new sponsor worth a few million plus they have set up an u17s regional competition now, in closing they will also be allowing the HPC or a WI B-team to take part in the next four day competition so that more of our young prospects can play FC cricket,

So i don't buy the notion that they a killing WI cricket, it wasn't them that made our batsmen fail twice in a row against India and England, it was the same old players who were playing way before Hilaire and Hunte took control of the WICB.

You have to fixed top down, not bottom up!
That's no excuse to keep a 36 year old out of form Shiv in the team though!! :roll: , HE SHOULD EARN HIS SPOT instead of living on past glories.
