let me now list what they have done over the past year or so..Set up the HPC
Brought back The A-team
Set up u19 tours
created a new u17s regional competition
Got ESPN showing our T20s and the later stages of the one day competition
Got a new shirt manufacturer
Set up video coverage online of our one day competition
Got a radio deal with a dubai company to air our international and domestic games
Providing funds for cricket clubs all over the caribbean
Finally got a batting coach to help Gibbo
Invited England Lions and also two county teams into our domestic cricket so our players can play against tougher opposition
Set up Kiddy clinics all over the caribbean to get kids involved in the game,
And that's just what i can remember, there comes a time when the PLAYERS have to take some of the blame as it's THEM who are on the pitch EMBARRASSING the great WI shirt, a board can only do so much, Australia have one of the best set-ups in the entire game BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM IN THE ASHES? they got their rass kicked because their players simply wasn't good enough, not because of their board,
The senior players have been way too comfortable for years IMO, and it hasn't got us anywhere, and as such the WICB can't win, they do nothing and people moan when we lose, they do something and people moan about certain players getting dropped!!..it's pathetic, personally i'd rather fail trying something new than fail with the same old skunts, i know people will say "what about Sammy?"..well i believe they are giving him a final chance to prove himself, he fails again in this ODI series then Sammy is done too imo.
