THE PRESSURE of captaincy isn’t affecting embattled West Indies’ captain Darren Sammy. Sammy made that clear while dismissing suggestions that the burden of leading a transitional regional side has impacted on his individual performances.

hmm... people running around saying that Sammy is a nice guy

Any idea what they meant by that?
Here we have the leader for the team happy to sit the specialist keeper so he can play as captain. Is this good team spirit?

How is he a decent chap and standing in the way of team unity?
How can he look at the players in them eyes, the ones sitting so he can play?
How he can call on players to perform?
How can a nice chap like Sammy think he is capable to lead a team he can't command a spot on merit?
Would a nice guy stand in the way of Caribbean unity?

The man is just an embarassment now!!..i could handle it if he'd put in some match winning performances now and then but he's just a straight up POOR cricketer, it's as simple as that, and his inclusion is sucking the life out of the team each time he plays,
i hope he flops big time in the next two ODIs, because one average performance from him will probably give them dumb selectors an excuse to put him in the Test side, and we really can't afford that, the pressure is building though and the selectors won't have any choice but to drop him soon.

Sammy, who are you kidding? "If I didn't think that I was capable to do the job, I wouldn't take it" This Guy is one of its kind, brazzen, arrogant and full of himself. He mixed too much with another mediocre Jerk Ottis Gibson until some of Gibson's crude, rough and vindictive traits rubbed off on him. The whole selection pannel is a bunch of waste, who were themselves mediocre cricketers to say the least. the Butts, the Haynes, the Brownes and of course the main one Ottis Gibson.
Gibson knows he cannot talk cricket to Chanders, Sars or Gayle, they were once captains for the West Indies, so he influnenced Dr Boards (Hilarie) to appoint Sammy as his lap- dog , making him captain of the West Indies. Sammy, I am sure you know you cannot command any respect from the three ousted players and former captains simply because you are not in their league. You know you can't make cut, yet for all you had the balls to ask Chanders to sit down for two game in the WC. That to my mind is tantamount to treason. What you are perpetuating right now, is to carry out Gibson's years of anger and bitterness for not being able to make the cut as a regular test player. In Gibson's only two test matches, he took two wickets at a cost of 95.1 runs per wicket. It that good or mediocre ? and yet he thinks he has the goods to be a coach for both batting and bowling. Sammy , with such a bowling skill as Gibson, he would produce lots and lots of Sammys, who can't bat nor bowl.

Sammy asked Chanderpaul to sit out of two matches in the World Cup, England and India.
