Deo did well in the Oz and SA tours… Deo has better Test stats than Samuels, Smith, et al

Is Deo being judged at a higher standard than the rest?

And couldn't make any runs for Guyana, to force his way back into the side....

I think he's mentally fragile, which is a pity. I'd like to see the WICB assigning him a psychologist, to work with him, because it would be a waste to lose that talent.

He played for Guyana against the Pakistanis, and only made 40, I think, so hardly a reason to recall him.

Bally, are you implying that there are 2 standards, one for guyanese and one for the rest?

narsingh was impressive in OZ, I thought he arrived finally and for good!

I suspect the saffie pace undid him. I remember one innings in a test he had got to the forties and was going good, got rattled and it was downhill from there

No...that was Huckle's assessment... :)

I just pulled up the stats for the two series and looking for confirmation what is considered failure in a test series. I'm assuming we will use the same yardstick for all the players...:)

in my book, that is what I called a fair assessment. A cricket fan willing to call his own country man "dun" when indeed he is done.

Can we say the same for Dotties and their players??

Devon...Scammy....
