Time to switch places between Bravo and Sarwan..take the kid out of the fiyah fuh ah minute.
Devon smith is a hopeful batsman! he plays forward and hopes to make contact with the ball.
somebody tell the man dat he supposed to follow the ball with his eyes and hit it with his bat, without losing sight of the ball. dat is accomplished by simply not taking your eyes off the ball.
also devon might look for some dancing lessons. he shud spend some time in Titty and learn how to dance. he mus' learn how to use his feet to the spinners
Lil Bravo and Devon Smif'

Let Lil Bravo face the heat and fire at #3.mapoui wrote:Time to switch places between Bravo and Sarwan..take the kid out of the fiyah fuh ah minute.
Bravo did remarkably well in the test series against SL----he averaged 68.67 in the 3 tests with 3 half centuries.
But since that test series, Lil Bravo has shyt his pants.
WORLD CUP: Lil Bravo averaged 23.16
ONEDAYERS VS PAKISTAN: Lil Bravo averaged 36.75
CURRENT TEST SERIES VS PAKISTAN: Lil Bravo has scored 25 and 8
But dont worry---Lil Bravo is the next Brian Lara---the next WI great----that is what many West Indians fans are saying.
SO LET LIL BRAVO REMAIN AT #3

To be honest it can't be easy for any rookie to bat on that pitch!!, it's been tough for him lately but it's all part of the learning process, i hope to see more from him in the next Test match!!, a few 50s would be nice,
As for Smith, if he ever plays for WI again i think Gibbo and the selectors need to be sacked ASAP!!.. i believe his career is finished now and THANK GOD, Brathwaite or Barath will play the next Test.

I agree with Afro....
This is a learning experience for Bravo, so hopefully he will take some lessons out of this Test. As for Smith, he's been around long enough, and his head is so thick he can't learn how to play mediocre spin!
Also, until he got out, Bravo looked good, while Smith was always a walking wicket....
Here's the crux: Pakistan are using a spinner to open the bowling, so maybe we need a batsman who can play spin to partner Simmons at the top of the order. Maybe we should take a middle-order batsman who topped the batting averages in the four-day domestic tournament, and give him a one-off match partnering Simmons in St Kitts, while we wait for Barath to recover fully from his injury, and/or for Gayle to return from the IPL.
This would be my XI for the second Test, assuming we win this match:
1) Lendl Simmons
2) Marlon Samuels
3) Darren Bravo
4) Shiv Chanderpaul
5) Ramnaresh Sarwan
6) Brendan Nash
7) Carlton Baugh
8) Darren Sammy
9) Kemar Roach
10) Ravi Rampaul
11) Dev Bishoo

dats a good idea mikesiva..a one-off. I am a lil wary of starting lil Braithwaite just yet...aldoh if deh did I wud not mind.
I have so little trust in Samuels brain power that any reasonable alternative dat does not inlclude him I wud look at...even Danza Hyatt or some such. anyone with an inkling wen it comes to playing spin.
samuels is jess plain foolish... a man who does not know wat to do with his abilities, which are not insignificant

anyhow if simmons continues to pan out, gayle returns and barath gets well and stays well we looking at the end of Samuels as a wesindian player.
deh will always pik sknash before him. wat may save him is if shive is really done.
if shive does not regain usefulness to the side, I am sure he himself will decide to quit at the end of this season leaving a big hole to fill.
the end of samuels is not an unhappy consideration
