Brilliant that Brathwaite is included in the squad, that would indicate that he's likely to play on friday, i'd actually pick Devon Smith as the 12th man due to his abilities in the slip, so maybe we could bring him on every now and then during the match to field, it would be a huge day for Brathwaite who would be one of the youngest to ever play for WI at 18 years old, just a year older than Sobers was, the yute won't be scared of Pak's spin that's for sure, and he has that same ability that Shiv has to stick around for long periods and frustrate the opposition.

Brathwaite likely to play you say ?
Well my bwoy, you'd be royally pissed on Friday morning when you find out that Devon Smith will be opening the batting with Lendl Simmons.
The Warner Park wicket is dead as a doorpost. Dont be surprised to see Devon Smith score his 2nd test hundred in his 34th test.
Darren Ganga once scored a hundred at Warner park---like Devon Smith and marlon Samuels, Ganga is a proven test failure.

Smith's weakness against spin has nothing to do with the pitch though!!.. he's just got a very bad technical flaw and it would be exposed once again in St-kits, even if he had TWO BATS his pad would still get touched!!

, furthermore with the pitch being so "dead" isn't that the perfect conditions for Brathwaite to make his debut? that yute is comfortable against spin and has the ability to stick around for long periods to help us get the right result,
I hope we bat first again, the last thing we need is for them to make over 400 and then we lose a few quick wickets, we'd be under big pressue, especially against their spinners.

The Black Prince, guess who going to the champions league? Ganga still best captain in region. Oh, and he wont embarrass us by not winning a single match like the great Shiv and Sars.

No question Ganga is a good captain and he and his team did remarkably well the last time they played in the Champions league---made it all the way to the finals.
BUT DAREN GANGA LIKE MARLON SAMUELS AND DEVON SMITH IS A PROVEN FAILURE IN TEST AND ONEDAYERS.
25.71...Ganga's average in 48 tests
25.54...Ganga's average in 25 onedayers

Guyana was an embarrassment at the Champions league but they were the regional Champs. Just for the record, Shiv wasn't part of the Guyana team though.

many players are FC stars and fail at Test level. They cannot make that transition. Ganga is one of them. As good cappo as he is at the FC level, he was not the same cappo at test. yes, granted he only took over from Sars for a few games...but we saw nothing that excites anyone.
Marlon reminds me to some degree of Faoud Bacchus....enough said.
