That's right! Bishoo has been getting some turn and bounce on the Warner Park wicket.

The old saying again:

WHAT'S GOOD FOR THE GOOSE IS GOOD FOR THE GANDER.

If Bishoo is getting some turn and bounce, Paki spinners Saeed Ajmal and Abdur Rehman will also get some turn and bounce.

This test match may very well have a result----the last 2 tests in St Kitts ended in tame, boring draws.

Bishoo: 11-4-25-1

Pak 100-4

Interesting, I see that too... Bishoo is bowling a bit short ...:( Ajmal could be a handful if this pitch continues to play like this. With Shiv not in this batting line up , it could be a worry for WI.

Check this:
49.1 Bishoo to Umar Akmal, no run, that's an airy and loose cut off the back foot and the ball falls just short of Nash at backward point, that ball bounced a bit more
See that ? "The ball bounced a bit more"---nearly a catch.

THIS PITCH IS BY NO MEANS DEAD.

Pakistan has only scored 120 runs in 52 overs---and they have lost 4 wickets----and Bishoo getting turn and bounce.

THE PAKI SPINNERS MAY VERY WELL FEAST!

If you are a West Indies fan, you have to be concerned with Bishoo getting turn and bounce on day 1---Ajmal and Rehman will be bowling last on this wicket.

Anyway you are right! Bishoo needs to tighten up.

Oh well, he is only playing in his 2nd test---he has lots to learn.

yes.. this game will have a result if rain doesn't interrupt it. Bishoo getting a bit expensive now though.

Here is an intelligent comment by Dond over at CC:
DonD wrote:

Bishoo needs variety in a hurry. He is very predictable. For the most part he is pushing the ball through, pitching on middle to middle and leg. No googly, little topspin, hardly uses flight to get the batsman out of his crease. In the old days Bishoo would have learned these skills in club and domestic first class games. Now he will have to learn them in test matches. I hope the other test teams don't get to him and demoralise him before he learns his craft properly.
DonD is correct in his assessment of Bishoo---he needs variety in a hurry---he is bowling too much like a oneday bowler. This is a test match---Bishoo has to be more wily.

No "donD" is actually talking RUBBISH, first of all anyone who has seen Bishoo play for more than five minuets would know he has the "googley".."top spinner".."flipper" and "Slider" in his arsenal and he's used all of them in this series, but lets not forget THIS IS HIS DEBUT, i'd imagine the yute just wants to keep things basic before he starts pulling out all his box of tricks, HE HASN'T TAKEN 20 WICKETS FOR WI ALREADY BY BOWLING RUBBISH!!..but it's typical wi fans!!..defend Shiv when his form was absolute GARBAGE but run down a yute who's trying to make a name for himself!!..it's just plain foolish!! ,

Furthermore most of Ajmal's damage has been against the left-handers, now two right handers have come into the line-up it will be very interesting to see how he copes.

You are right! Bishoo has all the deliveries in his arsenal, but in this test match he has not demonstrated variety.

I see he picked up another wicket today.

Bishoo: 26-10-69-2

BUT I BELIVE BISHOO COULD HAVE BOWLED BETTER IN THIS INNINGS HAD HE VARIED HIS BOWLING MORE---where was the flipper, the googly, the slidder ?

Pak 235/9

last wicket pair have added 41 runs so far.

ANYWAY BISHOO IS BACK INTO THE ATTACK---let's see what he does.

Can Bishoo break the last wicket partnership ?
