Shiv topped the batting averages against Pakistan, so even if he fails against India, I think he's still in the frame for future Test series....
However, with regards to Sarwan and Nash, I think it's a very real possibility that neither will be picked to play in the first Test against India, given their poor performances with the bat against Pakistan.

I dont mind if sknash goes because as I have insisted all along there isnt very much there.
we do not lose much by the passage of sknash. only googley knows wat skansh has. only he can see wat it is
sarwan on the other hand is a known quantity which is much better than sknash. ie we keep trying with sarwas we know wat he reward might be. and in the mix it is worth an effort! sarwan is still only 30

Shiv have a couple more years.. we don't have batters that can stick around at the crease.mikesiva wrote:Shiv topped the batting averages against Pakistan, so even if he fails against India, I think he's still in the frame for future Test series....

Sarwan might be the next Cappo, now that Sammy time is coming to an end after the India series and Ottis too.

dont hold your breath on a sarwan captaincy bally. dat is not likely to happen unless sarwan bounces back with a solid India perofrmance
and even dat will not change the price of cocoa.
as long as hunte and hillaire there sammy is the man. wat yu doh know the wes westindies yet. sammy has doen enuf to give dem ammunition. deh nah drop him!

Hey, won't all players be available? Can't see Sars or Shiv making 20/20 or ODI team. Test side may find place for them but they on their last. Sars looks like he still can't throw the ball, shoulder still looks hurt. Shiv not fast enough for shorter form of the game and when a player plays one or two innings and bats low in order and comes out n/o his avarage would be high. Check total runs per innings.
