The Incredible Anti-westindian Reality of Groundskeeping

I am coming to believe that the westindies as we know it shud be broken-up, or evolved out of existence, to be replaced by something more sane, and logical.
the westindian people do not love themselves and the westindies on any level. we lucked into talented cricket teams and joomped we way through worrell/sobers and lloyd/Richards.
now dat they are gorne we are back to the dreary ,boring reality of our true westindian- hating selves, that expresses itself in love for the forriner over our own, no matter who that forriner is.
to be loved and feted and listened to in the westindies you jess have to be forrin. jess be forrin and be invited everywhere, catered to, spoken with as a fount of wisdom, often the recipient of all the insular bile in the town.
the indians will tell you of their hate and nits and snits with blac people. blac people will do the same about indians and whites and chinese.
white people will regale you with their troubles at whites only clubs, as a mionority at the hands of the majority blacks, and to a slighly lesser extent indians, but will end by insisting that 'this is a blac mans country now', deh leaving!
the local chinese are few but most or almost all, made so much hay when the sun shone...and prolly still do..they doh care about none of dem, care to speak to anybody at all, while jetting-off to their various homes in Paris, Copehagen, London and New York...all on the backs of the westindian people

then there is the westindian elites, so far still contiained mostly of afro-carribeans and an awful thing to behold.
the people fought for independence and deh opportunistically captured the struggle and turned it into their post independence politial power. it is a power that allowed the forrin banks to run wild, control the region and dictate local policies.
the westindies remained a source of capital for the metropole, a one-way conduit out of the region northward, while we were left with a willingly bribed elite leading us to hell, with the same relations of productions after independence as before it.
and the intelletual superstructure has been stoked the same way to maintian the production of stupid people from the start to now, for anyone reasonable thingking and knowledgable person a chat with a young westindian about his history shud be a revelation. at times it is stunning to oberve the miseducation that is going orn
it is this mix the production of pitches to suit the visiting teams during the westindan cricket season becomes explicable.
to read how a westindian pitch is going to play during a 5 day test match one only has to define the visitors strengths. if it is pace then the wickets will suit pace. it is spin then the wickets will suit spin
at no time during the last 10 years or so can I recall a wicket that was prepared to suit westindian strenghts, save perhaps at the kensington oval in Barbados, which mostly palys ture to pace
