Since 2004 the West Indies has won, at most, 1 test per calendar year---in 2006 they did not win any test and in 2010 they did not win any test.

Check this---going back 8 years:

2004...WI won 1 test vs Bangladesh

2005...WI won 1 test vs Pakistan

2006...WI did not win any test

2007...WI won 1 test vs South Africa

2008...WI won 1 test vs Sri Lanka

2009...WI won 1 test vs England

2010...WI did not win any test

2011...WI has won 1 test against Pakistan

THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE!

WI has been a mediocre team the past 15 years---1 test win at most the past 8 years is horrendous.


CAN THE WEST INDIES MIRACULOUSLY WIN 2 TESTS IN 2011 ?

Does it snow in the sahara ? NO!

HUMPTY DUMPTY SAT ON A WALL....you know the rest.

There is no way West Indies cricket will recover from its downward trend.

WEST INDIES CRICKET WILL REMAIN MEDIOCRE FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.

Yes the West Indies will win a test now and then---at most 1 test win a year.

And yes WI cricketers will have good indivivual performances now and then.

BUT THE WEST INDIES AS A TEAM IS DOOMED TO REMAIN MEDIOCRE FOR DECADES TO COME.

Pick the best college basketball team in America----throw them up against the NBA's Miami heat---you know the result before the match has started---MIAMI WINS.

by dat definition west-Indians shud take over save dat they too stupid, seemingly only marginally smarter than their African bretherin...in dat deh know how to make and keep money.

now is the time Indian people shud be taking over due to blac incompetence, decay and downward slide into irrelevance. but deh are not because deh are not producing many if any world class crickleters.

the westindian cricket power wud be theirs if deh produced 2-3 world class cricketers right now. and westindies need such desperately. even if the white bwoys returned with a couple 3 great cricketers it wud be theirs again too!

wen I put the real wesindian history together man it is inesacpable...the utterly dotish society we have, in fcat it taook a too long to catch up with us but it has in spades.

look at Banking in the westindies. with what we know if banking what has been going orn from the start?

yu do know that the capitalist financial principle is to make soemthing from nothing if possible but at the lowest possible cost, even if yu have to beat kill and starve people to accomplish it.

when I lived up the islands I used to be shcoled at the conditions of schools in dominica and in antigua. the poverty up the islands was stunning to me a man who was from poor himself in Trinidad. deh were far worse off than we in Trinidad and we were badly off indeed.

I cud and prolly will tell you stories of what I experienced up the islands.

but as a result of all that... the exploitation... the westindian people are badly off indeed especially intellectually, emotionally. instead of a growing capacity to deal with the world, with white people...

blac westindians in particular appear to be growing less and less capable of dealing with people on an equal footing. blac westindian sense of inferiority seems to be growing not abating.

how can westindies play even cricket on such a social basis. no wonder we fell apart so quickly at Warner Park. no fight, no determination, no guts at all at all! the first sight of hard times and disappointment at things not turning out as expected..the pitch...westindies fell completely apart.

and so the people do not care in return and kill as if life is water. in the refusal of the elites to produce education and jobs for the people in a growing and positive, locally owned and run economy , while instituting the drug trade as default economy with all its attendant weaponry and violence the people now have the means tpo wreak social havoc. and they do to the best of their abilities.

such a society as the westindies cannot produce citizens, not even such as those who were interim producst in the 3 decades between independence and 1980 for example, egnerations that prodeced functional people like Viv, Macco, haynes and the rest.


the westindies cannot produce people like those anymore...will not produce such quality until the social reality becomes a truly independnt one and the society changes around from the mess it now is to something positive and oriendted towards the people
