Sports minister calls for Caricom intervention

After another thrashing by what is essentially a second-string Indian cricket team, Minister of Sports Anil Roberts said the time has come for crisis intervention in the affairs of West Indies cricket. The West Indies were beaten by four wickets at the Queen’s Park Oval on Sunday, their second loss of the tour so far. They lost the opening T20 on Saturday. This follows an ODI series loss earlier this season to Pakistan, and a 1-1 tied Test Series. In an interview yesterday on the WIN TV Morning Show, Minister Roberts revealed that he is preparing a brief for Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, which he hopes to present to her in three weeks time. The Minister said he is asking the Prime Minister to call on her regional counterparts for an emergency meeting of Caribbean Prime Ministers, to treat with the dwindling fortunes of West Indies Cricket.

It is a private organisation basically and there’s a undemocratic way of selecting officials.
thats a nice nail right there, steel and glistening in the sun, as yuh hold it up with yuh hammer in yuh hand, readying to nail its rass in!

Roberts making good sounds...not entirely but much thats good in there!

Hillaire accepts. the toal failure accepting his incompetence in the presence of utter defeat?

if dat is what it is it shud not save him from the kick in his pants on the way out, as the wicb is overthrown, cleased out and restructured
