The Hindu Monkey God, Lord Hanuman, is considered as the chief servant of mankind, according to Pundit Ramesh Tiwari. He told the annual Lord Hanuman Jayanti (Avatar) at the Edinburgh Hindu Temple, that Lord Hanuman is the main helper of all mankind and that He has the ears of Lord Rama. Lord Rama is the chief player in the Hindu religious text, the Ramayana. “We pray for rains to come and nourish Mother Earth so that WASA reservoirs will be filled to capacity and the drought will end, that our food crops and other agricultural production will be regenerated,” Tiwari said.
