For the Second Test...5-5-1

I doh like to do this in the current situation but...

in batting order: Gayle, Barath, sarwan, Bravo, Shive...Baugh...Rampaul, Bishoo, Roach, Edwards, Sammy

bwoy I look at dat batting side and my knees buckle. I know 5-5-1 is a good way to go but westindies batting now like dark night full ah rollin' car and steel donkey...and the odd dracula flitting too and fro looking for sangria

I fraid it tuh rarse.

but if we have to kerry Sammy,we must have the bowling to close out the oposition when we have dem on the ropes.

if we cud have closed Indian out both times, this last test here, we wud have had at most to make 100 to win the game. India shud have been bowled out for at most 120 first innings and about 142 second innings.

westindies would have had a nice l lead from our own 173. and minus Dravids ton dat was just about 100 or less to make to win.

the 5-5-1 all-together cud have made 100 to win right? not so....?

so if we cyan jack up Indian again at Kensington..this time we whud put dem away with the 5 bowlers...for a total dat the 5 batsmen cyan surpass.

we have to stop being frighten about the batting and jess let dem win or lose.

we were frighten last time and pick 6 batsmen and deh cud not do the job.

we dont have 6 good batsmen so pick 5 and bring in the extra bowler. if we had him at Sabina we wud have won.

I feel better now, not too scared in the dark night with a good chance of getting home though the gauntlet of demons, with mih 5 bowlers.

so pik 5 batsmen..5 bowlers..an' ah keeper!

Maps,

I am convinced that Baugh cannot play spin. Drop his ass. Coach should report that Sammy has a shoulder injury and rest him.

Here is a winning combination

1 Gayle
2 Barath
3 Sarwan
4 Simmons
5 Shiv
6 Bravo (young)
7 Ramdin
8 Rampaul
9 Roach
10 Bishoo
11 Edwards

that team can beat this Indian team!

well..if yuh cyan get rid of sammy yuh can have balance. but dont forget Sammy is taking wickets..plenty of them. dats one reason why I said 5-5-1

anothet is the scores we have threatend to bowl out Pak and now India for have been very, very low...hence to regain balance if we add another bowler...5 batsmen do not seem so much of a dangerous policy

I never saw Baugh as a capable batsman at the top level of the game. and I admit he seems to be trying to bat sanely now.

but Ramdin really went south on us man.

its neither here no there with me who keeps now... save I believe Ramdin can mature and in another year or 2, blossom and return ready to live up to his potential.

I look forward in hope to that from him

with Gayle in the team, you got a 5th bowler.

the way i am going, with gayle we will have 6 bowlers. I am not looking to gayle for anything save when i want to break a partnership dat proving stubborn. I turn to him as a shot.

but I want gayle to open and score runs as the best batsman at the moment. and I not putting any other responsibility on him to harm dat need

mapoui, how could you put Sarwan ahead of Simmions I dont know. Ramdin should replace Baugh. Rampaul, Roach, Edwards, Bishoo and Sammy the bowlers.

Sarwan, in or out of form is by far a better batsman than simmons likely will ever be!

we have ro speak in past tense of course but yet I do not see any reason at all to put simmons ahead of sarwan in the lineup, unlesss simmons opens the innings.

I shud not have put simmons at #4 but at #6, where his style cold help westindies much better than anywhere inside he batting.
the 2 ends is where he fits...opening or at 6

as long as Sarwan plays he is #3 until someone wins that positon away.

truss me, Ramdin is better off where he is...playing club and regional dung heap. leave him there for the next while..a year or 2.

if he really has it he will be back in a couple, and ready to hang on for the next 10 years doing quality work
