Unread post

the whole history of westindies batting before us in books easily available, on the net in various stat banks.

allyuh go see numerous instances of great westindian batting responses to lsituattions dat turned wat seemed certain loss into wins.

basil Butcher, kanhai, Charlie davis, larry Gomes, Lloyd, Richards, Richardson..even Hooper and David Williams one time.

there are instances of Kalliecharan, of desmond haynes batting through innings holding down one end like conrad hunte used to do

it is not like wat I am asking fro from lil bravo is from mars or jupiter. its right there in our tradition, thick and strong...no one incident of it but as a trend in our game that winds itself up from the start to now.

from george challenor to George Headley, through to the W's and Jeffery Stollmeyer, to Collie Smith, Sobers and kanhai, Buthcer and Nurse, Lloyd, Kalliecharran and charlie davis, Gomes, Richards....all the way..

lil Bravo, young as he is is an exception so far, not the rule of westindian batting of buckling down and getting the job done...
