The WI bowlers just dismissed India for a lowly 201---Rampaul, Edwards and Bishoo got 3 wickets each.
QUESTION:
With India struggling to pass 200, what can you expect from the mediocre WI batsmen ?
WILL THEY MAKE 150 ON THE KENSINGTON PITCH IN THEIR 1ST INNINGS ?
It will be a great struggle!
IT WILL BE A MIRACLE IF WI SURPASS INDIA'S 201

You expect a 50 from Shiv ?BallOil wrote:yeah, they will get a 100 but 200 might be hard. Shiv should to give we a 50...
Dream on! Shiv will be lucky to get into double figures---and if he does---will most likey be dismissed in the 20s.
Why am I negative regarding Shiv ?
Check his last 8 test scores:
Shiv has been getting good starts---at least in his last 5 innings--- but he seems to have forgotten how to bat on.32, 8, 0*, 54, 27, 36*, 23, 30
Anyway,
WEST INDIES 30/3
Barath 3
Simmons 2
Bravo 9
WILL THE WI REACH 150 ?

looking at Shiv's recent scores... I see some 50s and Not Out missing deh.
Shiv done set target of 10K runs and 50+ average and working towards that. The team environment is still hostile and is not a productive environment. Patience bro patience....
WI will make runs...don't worry.. We still have Sars, Bish, Shiv, Baug, Sam, Sham,Fiddie, and Ravi to come.

This Barbados wicket is bowler friendly---I expect Shiv to chook around and make a 20 something.BallOil wrote:looking at Shiv's recent scores... FACE REALITY---SHIV BEST DAYS ARE WAAAAY BEHIND HIM.
Listen! The man is clearly determined---and if he is lucky he can score a fifty at Kensington.
Actually, here are Shiv's last 7 scores at Kensington Oval:
EXCELLENT!!!!92, 153*, 79*, 50, 70, 22, 71*
Anyway, I expect Shiv to match that 22 tomorrow----I'd be happy if he proves me wrong and miraculously score a fifty.
SHIV HAS NOT BEEN THE SAME CRICKETER SINCE HIS FAMILY CRISIS.

Family crisis? What family crisis? I didn't hear about that one....
Yes, it's true that Shiv is not as good as he used to be, but the sad truth is that even a below-par Shiv is one of the WIndies best batsmen.
I'm also sceptical that the WI will make 150, but I hope I'm proved wrong....

optimism?
I must admit that there is an enigmatic sense about westindies batting in that cud fall in we favour.
shive and sars can score big against any bowling, although deh have been far from dat lately. but deh may break out at anytime, for at least once again.
dat day might be today.
if we get lucky and all who remain bat for average we may get to 200..shive fifty, sars 40, samuels 35,...125 + 30 already on the tins =155. den Bauff 27, Rampy 29 and we home free.
