SHOULD ROACH BE BROUGHT BACK IN?

I have to admit despite getting a 5fer i'm not convinced by Edwards at all, in the two matches since he returned he's looked out of sorts for large spells and has been spraying wides all over the place, and when things aren't going his way his body language smacks of a man who's lost faith, so should we bring back Roach for the last Test? if Roach performs like he did in SL he can win us the match imo.

This is Test cricket, not ODI cricket, so who cares if Edwards is a little erratic? The important thing is that he's a wicket-taker. This is his ninth five-fer in Test cricket, and the Windies don't have any bowler with that ability. You don't drop a guy for taking a five-fer....
He has a slingy action, so the margin for error is much finer than with bowlers who have more conventional actions. As far as I'm concerned, Fidel is one of the first names to be jotted down on the team sheet.
Roach can only come in for Sammy, but we all know that's not going to happen....

And yet Roach got a 5fer AWAY IN SRI-LANKA, where he picked up around 15 wickets in the Tests and was awarded man of the series but what happened to him?

imo Edwards costs us far too many runs and at the end of the day once India reach above 250 his wickets are all in vain anyway.
We'd be much better served having a quicky who can also keep things tight aswell as nick some wickets, like Rampaul has done most of the time for example.

"If Roach performs like he did in Sri Lanka" you write ?
WELL AFRO, IF SHIT HAD WINGS IT WOULD ALSO FLY!
The reality is Edwards has been taking wickets since he returned to the WI team. Check out his wicket hauls:
4/56, 1/70, 3/56, 5/76
That's 13 wickets in the 2 tests he has played!
RE: ROACH
Yes! He took 10 wickets in the 2 tests he played in Sri Lanka---but then he lost his bowling form----here are his last 5 innings:
0/15, 1/40, 1/30, 1/51, 1/58
Roach took a measley 4 wickets in his last 5 test innings.
Listen up afro!
Roach is young and he will be back---but in the meantime he fetches water---and get more hungry in the process.
Ideally Roach should play ahead of Sammy---but Sammy is the specialist captain---so LEADER ROACH stays out.

The yute just went through a bad spell like ALL players do, but even in that bad spell he never gave away vast amounts of runs like Edwards is, and at the end of the day giving away so many extras like Edwards has been doing is killing us, i just think it's time to give Roach another chance, because when he's in form he's BETTER than Fidel, and don't give me this "shit had wings" nonsense because Kemar is more than capable of producing his top form again.
If you've actually watched the matches the commentators have criticized Fidel's poor bowling in unison, and those commentators are former pro's so they know what they are talking about.

There's no comparison between the two Bajan pacers right now....
In his last two Test matches, Roach only took four wickets.
In his last two Test matches, Edwards took 13 wickets.
Roach has to sit out and wait on Fidel right now....

When there was calls for Shiv to be dropped you kept going back to his stats vs South Africa despite the fact that he failed against Sri-lanka, but now when i talk about Kemar's stats vs Sri-lanka you want to ignore them? what a surprise!!
