gloating over the fallen is not so nice! :)

however s stage in Indian cricket is passing. several great players are just about done. the side must be renewed.

Segwag and gambir are good building blocks. deh shud help to make the down-turn looming less painful for Indian fans

its great to see Dravid go out with a bang. I have always admired Dravids batting. I see him as a most intellient batsman, one of the smartest batsmen at the crease I have ever seen

I think India's problems are more serious than they're prepared to admit....

1) Sehwag is an opening batsman who makes a lot of runs thru excellent hand-eye coordination, because he has limited foot movement. Now that he's over 30, his reflexes have slowed, and his hand-eye coordination is not as good as it once was. As a result, his lack of foot movement has left him susceptible to good bowling on pitches that assist pacers.

2) Laxman has never been a fitness guru, and now that he's over 30, he's struggling. I don't see much of a future for him.

3) Dhoni's keeping was never great, but it's appalling now.

4) Ishant is the only pacer who is in the mid-80s. The rest of the seamers bowl at Darren Sammy pace....
:D
I don't see India coming back to the top for now....

I see it as a battle between England and South Africa for top spot.

I can bet if Sachin scores his 100th ton today, all of Dravid's achievements would vanish as a snowflake in hell.

Yeah, it is unfair the way Indian fans hero-worship Sachin, and seem to ignore Dravid, jsut because he doesn't play exciting, flashy strokes....

India's 200 is about to come up for the loss of just three wickets. Maybe Mishra should be promoted up the order instead of some of these specialist batsmen!

50 over more to go and 4 wickets remaining to avoid the whitewash

Final pair at the crease, and still 16 runs adrift....
:)
