"Six T&T players, including wicket-keeper Denesh Ramdin, have been selected in the West Indies squad for their short tour of Bangladesh in November, according to team manager Omar Khan. At a farewell function for the T&T team which headed off to the IPL series in India on Monday, Khan announced that opening batsmen Adrian Barath and Lendl Simmons, left-handed stroke-player Daren Bravo, wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin, big-hitter Kieron Pollard and fast bowler Ravi Rampaul have all been rewarded by the regional selectors for outstanding, consistent performances."

I guess these teams will join the squad right after the Champions League. Dwayne Bravo not in the squad, though....

Are they taking about 20 players for this tour? Ramo and Polly need not to be on any WI team at this moment....

Competition for places is a must so maybe they are using this tour to chart Ramdin's progress since his last selection. Otherwise, on the basis of Baugh's s performances against Pakistan and India not selecting him doesn't make any sense. We have already discussed elsewhere on the forum the modern day desire for the wicket-keeper to also be an accomplished batsman. I wish him every success behind and in front of the stumps. We will see.
The tour fixture list as published on Cricinfo is as follows:

Yes, Baugh non selection doh make sense. There is no method to the madness of selection.
Let's hope Ramdin make the most of his opportunity ...

To be fair, nothing official has been said yet, so it's possible that both Baugh and Ramdin might be in the squad....
