BCA issues statement on Brathwaite, Carter saga

The Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) today issued a statement re the selection of two members of the national squad – cousins Carlos Brathwaite and Jonathan Carter – for the West Indies Super 50 championship in Guyana, October 18 to 29.

This is the problem with the Combined Campuses....
Players make their names playing for the CCC, and then go on to play for their respective territories, and then get dropped again, and go back to the CCC.

I don't know why all the fuss... we all know that CCC is just another Bim team. Most of these hardbacks only taking a class to play for CCC... Ole man Reifer still playing for CCC?

There will soon be another issue concerning players choosing HPC over their country teams, i.e. Bess and Permaul from Guyana, and Gabriel from Trinidad. Did these two country's selectors actually think these players were not good enough for their respective teams? Or did they want to pick them, but had to give them to HPC?
