I know T20 is hardly important, but I still don't like our squad for this one-off slogfest.
Where are the guys that performed so well in England?
Mathurin & Santokie must be wondering what they've done wrong.
Also, the two T & T spinners, Badree & Narine, should be in there, too.

Whats up Ntini!!.. yeah man it's strange, Santokie, Matharine and Narine should be key members of the t20 side right now, but i guess the selectors don't want to rush them yet.ntini77 wrote:I know T20 is hardly important, but I still don't like our squad for this one-off slogfest.

Excellent points bro...! I don't think there is a method to the selection madness.. I can just imagine how the players you've mentioned feeling...ntini77 wrote:I know T20 is hardly important, but I still don't like our squad for this one-off slogfest.

It seems to me that the WI selectors function on the premise that for overseas tours they pick an ODI side, and that side also plays the 20/20....
That is the policy of most sides, but forward-thinking sides like England and Australia are changing that approach, and they're picking 20/20 players to tour for the 20/20, and then go home afterwards. They're planning for the World 20/20s, and we're not....

Barath out for 15 off 20 balls, hitting a skyer off Shakib, caught by Tamim.
