Wasn't that the worth of the 2010 contracts? I guess there were no increments for inflation to these value....HmmmmmBallOil wrote:According to CMC....Grade A contracts are worth US$120,000, Grade B are valued at US$100,000, with Grade C at US$80,000.

Isn't it interesting that you can't get the info about how much is being paid by each contract from the press release, but have to rely on CMC? So, only Shiv is getting $120,000, while four players are getting $100,000. Eight players are getting $80,000, so it seems that 13 players earn between $80-120,000, with the majority at the lower level....
Now, the BCCI have released their contracts, and they have no problem saying what is the value of each contract....

In all, 12 players are earning $205,000 from central contracts. There is such a huge disparity between what Indian players earn, and what WI players earn. Is it any surprise, then, that the appeal of IPL is so much harder to resist if you're a West Indian?

as you stated it is a huge disparity... How do you motivate underpaid employees to produce?
