Pollard out for three weeks

Trinidad and Tobago all-rounder Kieron Pollard will be out of action for at least three weeks after sustaining a shoulder injury in the national team's five-wicket win over the Leeward Islands in the Regional Super50 Tournament in Guyana on Saturday.
Pollard confirmed the injury and also revealed he was playing with a fractured wrist and that he will now take the down time to allow both injuries to heal.
T&T manager Omar Khan, speaking to the Express from Guyana yesterday, explained that MRI scans and X-Rays indicated that the West Indies all-rounder would be out for the remainder of the Super50 competition and his absence would definitely be a big setback for the national team.
"Pollard has returned home since Sunday and it is a big blow for us because he came in and immediately made a big, big impact. He added a lot of motivation and support...the team was energised with him around and we will miss that," Khan said.
Pollard should be back in action by mid-November, which would be just in time for the limited overs leg of the West Indies tour to India. Link
