I hope I can actually stay awake until the end of this match....
IMHO, Trinidad are favourites. If Gayle gets going, Jamaica could win this quick time, but given Samuels' absence, the rest of the batting worryingly struggled against the HPC spinners, and if they struggled against them, how are they going to get Narine and Badree away?
I think the match hinges on the Trini spinners vs Gayle.
Good to see cricinfo have finally decided to put this match on the front page in their Domestic section, after ignoring it all week....
Here are the leading run-scorers to date:
1) Chris Gayle (Jamaica) 206 runs (ave 51.50)
2) Jason Mohammed (Trinidad) 195 runs (ave 65)
3) Leon Johnson (Guyana) 147 runs (ave 49)
4) Nkrumah Bonner (HPC) 100 runs (ave 50)
Justin Guillen, Tamar Lambert and Xavier Marshall are in the 90s....
And here are the leading wicket-takers to date:
1) Sunil Narine (Trinidad) 14 wickets (ave 10.42)
2) Krishmar Santokie (Jamaica) nine wickets (ave 16)
3) Kavesh Kantasingh (CCC) eight wickets (ave 10.87)
Nikita Miller and Odean Brown have seven wickets each, while Samuel Badree has six.

3.6 Russell to Guillen, OUT, and there's the first breakthrough. Russell goes round the wicket and bowls a fuller ball outside the off stump. Guillen chases it and gets a faint outside edge
JC Guillen c †Walton b Russell 7 (10b 1x4 0x6) SR: 70.00
TT 15-1.

7.3 Russell to Perkins, OUT, fuller ball outside the off stump. Perkins looks to loft it straight over the bowlers head but does not get enough bat as Findlay runs back and takes the catch at mid-off
WKD Perkins c Findlay b Russell 7 (25b 0x4 0x6) SR: 28.00
TT 21-2.
10.6 Miller to Bravo, OUT, and that turns and spits after pitching as Bravo plays all over it and the off stump goes for a walk
DJ Bravo b Miller 1 (12b 0x4 0x6) SR: 8.33
TT 25-3
14.3 Miller to D Ganga, OUT, struck on the pads in line. Darren Ganga has his bat behind the pad and that's plumb
D Ganga lbw b Miller 7 (28b 0x4 0x6) SR: 25.00
TT 30-4

Comms saying 160 would be a good score on that track!!

, so Trini nah done yet, HPC managed to get themselves a decent score from a similar position, all trini need to do is give their bowlers something to work with and then we will see the Narine show!!

.

So Afro, are you a Trini? Or a Brazilian?
At the halfway stage, Trinidad are 70-4.
Where are you, WestDem? New York?
