I've picked the players according to the following criteria....
Batsmen need to accumulate more than 90 runs and have an average of at least 30 during the tournament. Bowlers need to take at least eight wickets and have an average of less than 20.
1) Chris Gayle (Jamaica) 218 runs @ 43.60
2) Leon Johnson (Guyana) 147 runs @ 49
3) Xavier Marshall (Jamaica) 95 runs @ 31.66
4) Tamar Lambert (Jamaica) 123 runs @ 123
5) Jason Mohammed (Trinidad) 227 runs @ 56.75
6) Nkrumah Bonner (HPC) 100 runs @ 50
7) Patrick Browne (Barbados) keeper - 66 runs @ 66
8) Nikita Miller (Jamaica) 10 wickets @ 11.30
9) Sunil Narine (Trinidad) 15 wickets @ 11.86
10) Krishmar Santokie (Jamaica) nine wickets @ 18.55
11) Kavesh Kantasingh (CCC) eight wickets @ 10.87

Bumped...for Afro's benefit.
Given how poor our players have been in ODIs, I would hope that players who made my team of the tournament should be considered for the senior team in ODIs.
It's good to see Jason Mohammed and Narine getting called up for ODIs in India. It's good to see Leon Johnson and Bonner in the A team, but it's a shame that other players were ignored for the A team's one-day side for non-performers at this form of cricket....

You really are stupid, aren't you?AFRO wrote:AGAIN WHERE DID YOU SUGGEST NARINE SHOULD BE CALLED UP? I'M WAITNG YOU FECKING PR/CK!!.

Any player I pick in my team of the tournament should be playing for the West Indies, IMHO, whether it's on the senior team, or the A team....
Narine topped the bowling stats, so clearly he has to be in the senior team.
But I don't need to convince idiots like you!

You can believe whatever you want, and wallow in your ignorance....
Point is right about you....

Again, your stupidity knows no bounds....
Obviously, the top performers in the side deserve to be in the WI side. I really don't care what unimportant posters like you think I want to be in the squad or not, you can go play with yourself and have whatever fantasies you want about that...anything that makes you happy - that's good for you!
I know what I want to see, and I want to see players who do well domestically get rewarded in the WI senior and A teams. I don't want to see non-performers being carried in the A team instead of these guys....
Why would I want to ingratiate myself with the selectors?
If I didn't like Narine being selected to the senior ODI side, I would've said so. I've done so with other players in the past, and I will do so again. I have never shied from criticising the selectors, so why would I do it in Narine's case?
I'm happy Narine has been picked, and if you don't want to believe that, then you can put that in your pipe and smoke it....

Whatever delusion gives you a high, Afro....
There are still people around who insist the world is flat. Are you one of them?
