St John’s, Antigua – Dwayne Bravo suffered an ankle injury during the West Indies A Team warm up on Thursday at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Grounds. Bravo will miss the Digicel ‘Tests’ against Bangladesh A. He has travelled back to Trinidad and Tobago.

How much experience does Permaul have of captaincy?

He captain's his club team which includes the likes of Chatergoon and Bishoo apparently, so he does have some kind of experience but he wouldn't have been my first choice to be honest.

You know, this is a precedence which tells us that Sammy is not the only candidate for captaincy of the senior side....

If Permaul can captain the A team, then any of the players who've more than 10 Tests playing in the senior team should be eligible to captain the senior team.
