Bridgetown, Barbados, November 13 – (http://www.bcacricket.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) – West Indies beat England by seven wickets in the second match of the three-match Cricket Legends of Barbados Inc (CLOBI) Challenge Masters Twenty20 championship at Kensington Oval here this evening to take a winning 2-0 lead.
Chasing 64 for victory, West Indies made 64 for three off 17.1 overs.
Opener Gordon Greenidge topscored with 28 not out off 49 balls.
Philo Wallace was leg before wicket without scoring as he played across fast bowler Devon Malcolm (9-1; 1.1 overs); Floyd Reifer was caught at long-on by Glen Chapple off pacer Philip DeFreitas for 20 (41-2; 8.1 overs) and skipper Carl Hooper was caught at deep midwicket by Mark Ramprakash off spinner Shaun Udal for six (60-3; 16.5 overs).
England were bowled out for 63 off 19.5 overs after they were sent in.
Middle order batsman Mark Alleyne topscored with 12, while all-rounder Alex Tudor made 10.
Fast bowler Kenny Benjamin, who caused the early problems and took the first three wickets, finished with three for two off three overs.
Off-spinner Nehemiah Perry took three for 12 off four overs and occasional spinner Gordon Greenidge, two for seven off 1.5 overs.
