THIS IS NARINE'S BIG CHANCE!!

The kid is returning to the place where he had his finest hour, it was only a few months ago that he compelled the world by spinning rings around top international batsmen like Raina, Dhoni, Watson and Vijay to name a few, his rise to the national team has been a quick one, but no-one can deny how much potential this young man has,

I've been watching Ashwin against us, who's meant to have "tricks" and was once classed as a mystery bowler, but if you look the wickets he's taken it's quite interesting, in the first test six out of the nine wickets he took were all left-handers, in the second test one of the two wickets he's taken was also a left-hander, he's pretty much useless against top right handed batsmen,

But that's not the case where Narine is concerned, with his variations it allows him to be effective against BOTH right and left handers, against the lefty he can bowl his off-spin and against the rightys he bowls leg-breaks, so the batsmen don't know which way he's gonna go, plus there's his carrom ball which goes straight on, he's got everything really, top spinners, googley, doosra, slider, flipper etc, dem indian batsmen won't know whats hit dem to rhatid!! ,

Another thing to note is his batting, i saw glimpses of it in the champions league, he'd come in at nine and hit a few boundries but in the A-team game the other day he basically saved the team with his knocks of 40 and 26 not out, that's an area where he has Bishoo completely beaten, and the more players we have who can actually bat well down the better it will be for us,

In closing the plan for Narine from here on is simple, do well in the ODI series, then in Febuary he has to impress in the four day competition i.e getting over 30 wickets, if he does then i think he'll have a great chance of being in the Test squad to face the Aussies, it's as simple as that!! 8-) .

Is this guy Narine is disguise or wat? Narine recently played in the WI A team against Bang A and he only got 2 wickets in the entire match. Event permaul bowled more economical and got more wickets than him. So look at the statistics before you start drooling over players.

Bwoy shut your dumb fecking mouth!! .. MAYBE YOU SHOULD LOOK AT THE DAMN STATS FROM THAT MATCH AND IF YOU DO YOU'LL SEE HE ONLY BOWLED 21 OVERS ON A TRACK THAT WASN'T SPIN FRIENDLY, and yet he kept things tight and got a wicket in each innings, Permaul's wickets were mostly the tail who were slogging at the death,

Furthermore i merely spoke about NARINE'S POTENTIAL, which is clear to see WHEN YOU ACTUALLY WATCH HIM BOWL, something that i very much doubt you've done.

I have indeed seen Narine bowled, Afro and from the looks of it he seems to be pelting the ball to the batsmen. He has managed to disguise his pelting though with his bowling action.

That is indeed an important concern, DMan, and one that needs to be borne in mind....

Shillingford was reported for pelting when he was in our domestic four-day competition, and had to be treated for it. He was then picked for the Windies, was reported again, had to go to Australia for remedial action, and while he's now a squad member, he hasn't regained his place in the side.

Narine went to Australia for remedial action earlier this year. It remains to be seen whether the corrections to his action are permanent or temporary....

Big difference is NARINE WASN'T REPORTED, concerns were expressed because of his unusual action, so he went to Australia to get is checked out AND WAS CLEARED, he then went on the international stage i.e THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and guess what? HE WASN'T CALLED, so people need to get over that foolishness and focus on the boys vast talent, because he's not only got more skills than Bishoo he can also bat very well down the order too, which would be another huge bonus for us if he fulfills his potential.

Maybe they should choose him to bat then instead of bowl if he gets called out for his pelting action.
