THE WORLD WITHOUT MONEY BEING SPENT TO HARNESS AND HONE THEIR

TALENTS ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????.

I certainly dont think so . Our Players need to play Regional Tournaments on properly prepared Pitches . They also need to play more Regional Matches in all the versions of the Game . Promising Players need to attend reputable Cricket Academies .

They also need to play more Matches at the Regional Level . The problem with our Players is the fact that they simply aint playing enough Cricket . Now it is apparent to me that neither the people who populate the WICB recognize this fact , nor their Sycophants in the Media .

My perspective is that the WICB must either change its Modus Operandi ; or be removed from the governance of Cricket in the Region . Our Players cannot be competitive in the International Cricket Arena if their development is short changed by the WICB .

The big problem I had this year was that the regional four-day domestic competition finished in April, while we played at home to India in June....

Nothing could be more ridiculous! Then, when a player got dropped, and another player got invited into the side, that player was short of match practice. That happened to Nash, so it's no surprise that he failed to make runs.

Our domestic season needs to run concurrently with our home series. It seems that next year's home series will run alongside the Australia tour of the Windies, but will it be running when the Kiwis comes to the Caribbean? I don't think so....

The WICB just doesn't plan properly....

Mikesiva ,

You need to understand that , while most of the people in the WICB have benefited from having achieved success i8n Higher Education , they all seem to lack something that is very important ; and this is COMMONSENSE .

This is what prevents them from understanding what needs to be done regarding having a sensible Plan for our Players , and Cricket in the Region . What I find disgraceful , is the fact that they havent yet figured out the errors of their ways .
