good or bad, a record is a record
Chanderpaul holds many records, but in Kolkata he reached one that will hurt him on more than one count. He is now part of
64 Test losses, more than anybody. He broke former team-mate Lara's record. Chanderpaul is not likely to get rid of this dubious distinction anytime soon: the next current player on the list is Tendulkar, who has been part of 50 defeats.

Well that just shows how bad our team have been over the decades, let alone years.
It still baffles me that we've had some world class players (Ambrose, Walsh, Lara and Chanderpaul) combined with talented under-achievers, as well as glorified club-cricketers, who had no business playing International Cricket. But failed to have a organised, collective team capable of playing competitive and consistant cricket for any period of time, but instead depended on individual ability to save face.
It's a unfortunate record for Lara and Chanderpaul to have as notorious punishment for serving the West Indies for a long period of time.

This record says a lot about how good Lara and Shiv were/are, and how rubbish a lot of their team-mates have been over the years....

more than anything it demonstrates how contemptibe the wich is and the intentions of the westindian elite, the wicb represents.
there is where the problem actually lies...in the intention of the westindian elite to subdue westindies cricket and keept the ruins at its feet in perpetuity
